and colored pencil on mat board. Description: Original L.HUNT artwork
from his wildlife period. The work is framed and matted under glass, ready
to hang. Note squirrel, right center. Condition: Frame is rustic-looking and
has very slight dings in the wood. Overall it is in very good condition.
The painting DOES NOT have L.HUNT text at
bottom as seen in the image above. Background: The stump in the painting
was found alongside a road in Crestline,
California near where L.HUNT once lived. The title comes from the Dan
Fogelberg song of the same name. This work was displayed for a time in
a Canadian wildlife exhibit which also featured Robert
Bateman. L.HUNT was in attendance opening night. Other information: Read article
